Daniel (Rosco) S. Russell, 51, was born Dec. 9th 1963 to Judith and Raymond Russell, he unexpectedly left us Saturday, August 2nd, 2015 due to a fatal motorcycle accident.
Preceding him in death is his father Raymond Russell.
Daniel is survived by his daughters Ashley and Danielle Russell, his former wife Robyn Russell, mother Judith Christenson, step-father Chuck Christenson, three sisters Rebecca (Len) Kinney, Debra (Bill) Roettger and Sandra (John) Galloway, one brother Dennis Russell, Step sisters Julie Johnson and Holly Christensen, one step brother Mick (Jeanne) Christensen, multiple nieces and nephews, and his special friend Sandy Carlson.
Daniel lived in the Foxboro, Summit area most of his life. Daniel graduate from Superior Senior High School, went on to school to be a mechanic and drove semi for various companies in the area the majority of his life.
Daniel enjoyed motorcycling, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, taking trips, racing, darts and spending time with friends and family, especially his two girls. He was a first responder, volunteer for the Summit fire department and involved in the Moose club 606. He was always upbeat and full of life and laughter. He found a great purpose in helping others and keeping a smile on everyone's face. He passed away doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle.
The family highly encourages everyone whose life he touched to attend his funeral, which will be held at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church on Saturday, August 8, 2015. The visitation be from 10 a.m. until the 12 noon service. A luncheon will follow the funeral service at the church. Following the luncheon, the burial will be at Summit Cemetery. At 6 p.m., the family would like to invite everyone out to Drifters Bar in Foxboro to have a toast in memory of Rosco!
