Daniel Mathew Sheahan, 62, of Gordon, formerly of Superior, died Friday, May 27, 2016, at his residence.

He was born July 20, 1953, in Superior, son of James and Elizabeth (Booth) Sheahan.

Dan was the owner and operator of the Old Oak Bar and Restaurant, Gordon.

He enjoyed football and was always very kind and tenderhearted.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his brothers, James (Vicki) Sheahan, Superior, and Thomas Sheahan, Superior; and sisters, Mary Ward, Superior, Kathy (Mark Brzinski) Sheahan, Jeanne (Paul) Patterson, Madison, and Sandy Sheahan, Madison.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior.

Committal prayers will be at Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
