Daniel R. Smith, 69, of Minong, Wis., died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Essentia-St. Mary's Medical Center as a result of a car accident on November 29, 2013 in Gordon, Wis.
Dan was born October 20, 1944 in Madison, Wis.
Dan was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and trapping.
Dan is survived by his two sons, Eric and his family and Brian and his family; his significant other, Sue Ludgate and family; and many good friends.
At Dan's request there will be no formal service.
