Daniel H. Udeen, 69, of Superior, passed away on November 10, 2025, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth with his family by his side.

Dan was born July 22, 1956, in Superior the son of Herb and Joyce (Rasmussen) Udeen.  He graduated from Superior Senior High School with the class of 1974.

Dan was employed as a heavy equipment operator for many years by Udeen Brothers, Reuben Johnson & Sons and Udeen Trucking.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan.  This past fall he was able to attend a home game for each beloved team.  For the past several years, Dan enjoyed traveling to Florida during the winter months.  He was known for his quick humor and storytelling.  He could have anyone laughing within seconds.

Dan is survived by his wife, Lori Udeen; his daughters Staci (Matt) Johnson, Danielle (Luke) Severson and Becky (Joe) Herubin; his stepsons Tim and Thomas Karaba; his siblings Debbie (Tom) Lach, Robin (Bill) Cich and Scott (Tracy) Udeen; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; special friends Bill Connor, Marvin Cich, Henry Podgorak, and Eric Rasmussen.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 16th from 12:00 - 3:00pm at VIP Pizza, 1201 Tower Ave., Superior.
