Darlene M. Coffield, 78, of Superior, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Essentia Health- St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

She was born in Hallock, MN, on May 19, 1940, the daughter of Earl and Ruth Coffield.

Darlene enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, baking, gardening, going to garage sales, reading and often traded books with her friends.  She loved traveling to Lancaster, MN, to visit family.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was a spunky and feisty woman who wasn't afraid to speak her mind.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; son, Edward 'Eddie' Cich, Jr.; former spouse, Edward Cich, Sr.; siblings, Marilyn Clinton, Duane Coffield, and Gary Coffield.

She is survived by her children, Mona (Greg) Keup of Superior, Melissa (Brian) Matheson of Superior, Jennifer (Rich) Cich of Superior, and Vickie (Charles) Kadrlik of Dennison, MN; grandchildren, Jessica (Corey) Haas, Joshua Dircks, Heather Paquette, Nicholas (Angie) Kadrlik, and Cody (Feliz) Kadrlik; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Hannah, Ava, Landon, Joshua Jr., Gracelyn, Amber, and Cody Jr.; siblings, Donald (Celia) Coffield, Elaine (Clarence) Renville, Diane (Richard) Glad, Darwin (Diane) Coffield, and Dixie (Jim) Strege; and many nieces and nephews.

Darlene's celebration of life will be on Saturday, June 30, 2018, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street.
