Darlene Joan Lambert, 89, passed away Tuesday June 30th, 2026, at Villa Marina Health and Rehab in Superior, WI. She is now reunited with Devere who passed away on Friday November 12th , 2021. May they find eternal peace, forever side by side. 

Darlene was born April 7th, 1937, in Cornell, WI to Alice (Pooler) and Joseph Breezee. She married Devere C. Lambert on February 28th, 1953. After his enlistment in the United States Army, they settled down in Poplar, WI next to his parents on Lambert Lane where they raised their eight children. Darlene loved crocheting, gardening, reading and spending time with family and friends. In retirement she and Devere traveled extensively in their motorhome before settling in Loveland, CO. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Devere, parents Joseph and Alice (Pooler) Breezee; In-Laws Carl and Frances Beda (Woodhull) Lambert; grandchildren Tanya, Nathan and Joey. 

Darlene is survived by her children, Cathy, Cheryl, Karen, Laurie, James (Jim), Carla, Robert (Bob), Steven, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. 

Visitation for Darlene and Devere will be held Saturday July 18, 2026, from 12 noon until the 1:00 pm Memorial Service in Peace Lutheran Church, 9523 US Hwy 2, Poplar. Inurnment will be in Poplar Cemetery.
