Darlene R. McKay, 84, of Superior, died Saturday October 10, 2026, at Aspirus St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.

Darlene was born on March 28, 1942, in Holyoke, MN the daughter of Lawrence and Eva (Switzer) Higgins.

She enjoyed doing crafts, beading Christmas decorations, and especially enjoyed crafting at Villa Marina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willam J. McKay.

Darlene is survived by her sisters, Dianne Frank and Brenda (Gerald) Lutter, and many nieces, nephews, and many extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Friday October 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, 8402 Tower Ave, Superior, WI 54880.
