Darline B. Rutheford, 74, of Superior, Wis. died Fri., Feb. 25, 2011 at St. Francis Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Darline was born in St. Louis, Missouri on Mar. 10, 1936, the daughter of Paul and Julia Barton
She enjoyed watching her game shows.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Charles "Chuck" Eugene Rutheford, Jr. on Feb. 20, 1997
Darline is survived by Charles Eugene Rutheford, Sr.; children, Kathryn A. V. Grace (formerly Kathy Marie Rutherford Slick) of Eau Claire, Wis., Curtis Lee Rutheford of Solon Springs, Wis. and Cindy Ann (Richard) Rutheford Lanning of Superior; grandchildren, Rachael Lynn Slick Griffin (Greg) Temple, Heather Anne Slick (Mac) Lee, Diana Cherie Slick (Brad) Larsh, Kathryn Julia~Marie (Chester Gustavson) Slick, Sarah Jean Rutheford (Hoyt) Wurz, Matthew Allan Rutheford, Jolene Janet Rutheford, Amber Rose Rutheford, Tina Louise Rutheford (Shane) Wosmek, Ann Marie Lanning, Neoma May (John) Lanning-Gilbertson, Crystal Jean Lanning and Richard Michael Lanning; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline (Asael) Griffith and Julia Mae (Merle) Kalb; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be on Thur., Mar. 3, at 1:00 pm in the Downs Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jack Van Horn of the Dewey-Borea Gospel Tabernacle as officiant. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
