David J. Erickson, 61, of Superior died Sunday November 22, 2020 at Essentia-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

David was born in Superior on April 2, 1959 the son of Roy and Eleanor (Kwiatkowski) Erickson.

David loved life and was a very thoughtful and giving person. He enjoyed spending time with his family, lifting weights, music and crafts, and had a special interest in painting and art.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael.

David is survived by his siblings, Ann (Gary) Trelstad of Dodge Center, MN; Ellen (David) Balarabe of Laurel, MD; Steven Erickson of Superior; James (Amy) Erickson of Clayton, WI; and Paula (Stan) Heuer of Esko, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 3 ^rd at 11:00 a.m. at Cathedral of Christ the King Church will Rev. Fr. Andrew P. Ricci as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Tradewinds Residence for their care of David. He enjoyed living there and thought of everyone as his extended family.  Also, a special thank you to Fran at HDC.
