David Michael O'Keefe, 63, of Superior, died Friday, December 11, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth.

He was born July 31, 1957 in Superior, son of Donald R. O'Keefe Sr. and Lorraine L. (White) O'Keefe.

David was a lifelong Superior area resident. He was an exceptionally kind, thoughtful, intelligent and non-materialistic person. He loved animals, especially his kitties. David was a natural musician and as a young teen taught himself guitar and harmonica. He would listen to a 45 single and learn every note on his guitar. Yes, he was a very gifted musician, and was very loved and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Dale, Daniel and Donald.

Survivors include his sister, Denise (David) Ranta, South Range; brothers, Dennis (Jill) O'Keefe, Gallup, NM,and Duane (Kari) O'Keefe, Kenosha, WI; and Ramona Gapko Kenosha, WI, Jillian (Jim) Rowan, Eagan, MN, and Atticus Todd, Los Angeles, CA.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Superior.
