David R. Thompson, 62 of Superior died Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in his home.

David was born February 20, 1962, to Marie (Nelson) and Nels Thompson in Superior.

He was employed first with Jeno's Foods and was a welder for Moline Manufacturing for many years and currently working with the Bachand Group as a property manager.  Dave also designed and manufactured boat docks and trailers in his spare time.  He married Cheryl Berka on September 26, 1981, in Superior.

Dave loved to ride his motorcycle around town, and he would drop in to say hi to friends along the way.  He enjoyed going to car shows in the surrounding area with family and friends whenever he had the chance.  Dave had a soft spot in his heart for his granddaughter, Grace.

David was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Glen Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; his daughters, Tara (Geoff) Soule and Tabitha (Kyle) Stoltz; his granddaughter, Grace Marie; his siblings, Jeannie (Dave) Roessler, Lester Thompson, JoAnn (Joe) Hoadley, Jill (Bill) LeMay and Jerry (Carrie) Thompson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Village of Superior Town Hall, 6702 Ogden Avenue, Superior, WI.
