David J. Yoder's Obituary
David J. Yoder, 53, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at St. Francis in the Park Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Superior on June 17, 1962 the son of Carolyn and David C. Yoder.
David had been living at St. Francis for the past 22years following a car accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury.
He was a member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. He had worked as a security guard in the Casino.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leslie and Lyle Yoder.
David is survived by his children, Gretchen, Ashley and Travis Yoder; sisters, Patricia (Ronald) Sather and Diana Yoder; a brother, Jeremy Yoder; and nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be on Tues. Sept. 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Dennis White will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
