Dawn E. (O'Brien) Johnson, 50, of Superior, WI, died suddenly on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in her home.

Dawn was born on February 24, 1974, in Duluth, MN the daughter of Gloria Blide and Michael O'Brien.

She graduated from Superior High School and attended WITC. Dawn married Terry Johnson on March 28, 1998, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Superior.

Dawn was the former owner/operator of Lee's Pizza and Ride or Die Pizzeria in Superior.  Most of all Dawn was a devoted mother and wife, that focused her energy on her family.  She loved listening to her music, it took her to her happy place. Dawn enjoyed visiting the pier to watch the birds and wildlife while enjoying the lake.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gloria (Blide) O'Brien.

Dawn is survived by her husband of 26 years, Terry; her children, Alexandria X (formerly Dylan Johnson), Terrie-Lynn Johnson and Desiree Johnson; her father, Michael O'Brien; and her brothers, Shawn (Deanna) O'Brien and Shane O'Brien.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19th St. with Fr. James Tobolski as the officiant.
