Debora S. Sampson, 50, of Superior, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her residence.

Debora was born in Duluth on Aug. 23, 1967 the daughter of William and Susan Sampson. She graduated from Superior High School with the class of 1985.

She enjoyed fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Julie Sampson LaPorte and grandparents, William and Margaret Sampson and Betty and Alois Ebmer.

Debora is survived by her son, Thomas M. Bierd of Superior; her parents, William and Susan; sister, Pam (Tom) Middleton of Superior; brother, Ken 'Skinny' Sampson of Superior; niece, Chelsy and nephews, Colten, Chase, Conner, and Trenton.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 9 from 10:30 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street. Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci, of Cathedral of Christ the King, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Minong on Monday.
