Debra 'Pam' K. Nelson, 69, of Superior, died Wednesday February 15, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospice in Duluth.

Debra was born in Superior on Dec. 20, 1953, the daughter of Edward and Adeline (Plencner) Nelson.

Pam had worked for many years as an LPN at nursing homes in Superior and surrounding areas. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family.  In addition, she enjoyed gardening, puzzles, relaxing in the sun, biking, and cross-country skiing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim and Ed Nelson; and brother-in-law, Bill Holton.

Pam is survived by her four sons, Lucas 'Brian' (Chase) Pelletier of Mount Vernon, WA, Aaron (Renee Passal) Nelson of Duluth, Dustin Homsey of Minneapolis, and Daniel Homsey of Superior; three grandchildren, Amia Homsey, Weston Nelson, and Elliot Nelson; long time friend, Mike Lyons of Duluth; siblings, Kathy Holton of Apple Valley, MN, Dan (Julie) Nelson of Racine, WI, Virginia (Bob) Belshaw of Rosemount, MN, and Steve (Kim) Nelson of Marinette, WI; sisters-in-law, Gretchen Nelson, and Kathryn Nelson; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 ^th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St., with Gary Banker as officiant.
