Debra Ann Kagie, 68 of Superior, WI, died on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

Debra was born August 21, 1955, in Duluth, MN to Marilyn (Swanson) and Frank O'Brien.

She was employed as a nurse's aide working in home health care for many years.

Debra learned to garden from her mother and loved to spend her time gardening.  She enjoyed fishing with her children and her brothers, Lenny and Robbie. Debra was proud of the fact that she taught all of her children to swim.  She was passionate about everything to do with Wisconsin cheese.  Debra will be remembered for her sense of humor, her love of laughter and teasing her little sisters.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lenny.

Survivors include her children, Jacob Kagie, Joshua Kagie and Angel Kagie; her brothers, Frank O'Brien and Robbie (Kim) O'Brien; her sisters, Jodi O'Brien, Cindy (Paul) Taraldsen and Wendy (Brian) Homstad.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 26th from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St., Superior.
