Debra J. Smith, 62, of Superior, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017, in Vero Beach, FL, after a long 25-year heroic struggle with RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy).

She was born in Superior on March 28, 1955, the daughter of Louis and Bernice Pearson.

Debbie worked as CNA at St Francis nursing home for 15 years, until moving to Vero Beach in 2004. She loved being with friends and family, had a great sense of humor and most of all loved to laugh.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Louis (Carol) Pearson, Linda (David) Hanson, Eugene Pearson, and Virginia Pearson; and sister-in-law, Linda Pearson.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Christine (Darin) Eliason of Maple; grandchildren, Devin Eliason and Trevor Eliason; siblings, Sharon (Glen) Schmit, Ronald Pearson, and Richard Pearson; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Sept. 5, from noon until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St.  Rev. Michelle Rowell will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
