DeLorr Ann "Dee" Kirshtner, 63, a 35 year resident of Superior, Wis. died Mon., Apr. 16, 2012 in St. Luke's Hospice, Duluth, Minn.
Dee was born Feb. 20, 1949 to Hazel (Delvis) and Herbert Pacholke in Marshfield, Wis.
She served her country with the U. S. Marine Corps.
Dee liked to spend time at their cabin; she also liked to cook, garden, knit and read. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and the many other children who called her grandma Dee.
Surviving are her husband, Walter; two daughters, Kim (Edward) Willie and Connie (Rob) Morehouse all of Superior; four grandchildren, Caden and Sam Willie and Keely and Joe Morehouse; her father, Herbert of Cable, Wis.; a brother, Edward (Cindy) Pacholke of Rice Lake, Wis.; a sister, Marie (Richard) Kirshtner of Montgomery, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
Dee was preceded in death by her mother and an infant son.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until her 4:00 p.m. memorial service
on Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, of which she was a longtime member. Pastor Sarah Kerkes will officiate, followed by Military rites being accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post No. 435 at the church. Private family committal prayers will be held in Veteran's Memorial Park at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dee's name may be made to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
