Dennis E. Abrahamzon, 64, of Lake Nebagamon, WI, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth, following his long battle with ALS.

He was born July 8, 1954, in Rapid City, SD., son of Patrick and Edna (Vendela) Abrahamzon.

After completing Hamlin University School of Law, and becoming a certified public accountant, Dennis worked in Barron, WI, Minneapolis, MN, and then Duluth. While in Duluth, Dennis was a self-employed financial planner with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.

On October 8, 1983, in South Range, WI, Dennis Abrahamzon and Cynthia Constance were united in marriage.

Dennis loved his family and family BBQ's, and trips to Disney World and Las Vegas, were priorities of his. He also enjoyed golfing and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.

Preceding him in death was his father, Patrick Abrahamzon in 2008.

Survivors include his wife of over 35 years,  Cynthia "Cindy" Abrahamzon; daughter, Samantha (Joey) Cowley, Lake Nebagamon; son, Brian Moe, Duluth; grandchildren, Landon and Benjamin Cowley; mother, Edna Abrahamzon, South Range; sister, Shawn (Steve) Parker, South Range; brothers, Steven (Rene) Abrahamzon, and Duane (Lauretta) Abrahamzon, both of South Range; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lake Nebagamon, with pastor Darrell Kyle officiating.

Burial will be in Lake Nebagamon Cemetery, Lake Nebagamon, WI, following the memorial service.

Everyone is then invited back to the church for a luncheon.
