Dennis "Denny" C. Peterson, 75, of Superior, died Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Villa-Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center, Superior.

He was born April 12, 1944, in Superior.

Denny was a 1962 graduate of Superior Central High School.

His work history included Fraser Shipyards, O'Brien's 26 ^th Street Spur Station, and retired in 2006 from the Superior school district as a custodian.

He loved his Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and playing cribbage with his son, Mike. Denny also liked camping and fishing.

Preceding him in death were his mother and step-father, Evelyn and Wallace Karsteadt.

He is survived by his companion and soulmate of 40 years, Marlene Rhodes, Superior; sons, Michael (Santavia Rodriguez) Peterson, Superior, and Brian (Jamie Cornwell) Peterson, Eau Claire, WI; grandchildren, Keyanna and Braden Peterson, both of Eau Claire; and sister, Betty (Jim) Wick, Kiel, WI.

The family would like to thank the staff of Villa-Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center for their care of Dennis.

Per his wishes, no service will be held.
