Dennis H. Lee, 67, of Superior, died Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Essentia-St. Mary's Hospital in Superior.

Dennis was born in Superior on Sept. 8, 1950, the son of Herbert and Dorothy Lee. He served his country during the Vietnam War as a specialist in the United States Army.

He worked for the BNSF Railroad for 36 years and was instrumental in their initial mainframe implementation. He later came back to Superior and finished his career operating the swing bridge on the St. Louis River.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dennis is survived by his sisters, Sandra Gates, Linda Noble and Colleen Becker.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19th Street. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in the spring, followed by a celebration of life.
