Dennis W. Malinowski, 73, of Lake Nebagamon, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Superior.

Dennis was born on Oct 4, 1943 to Frank and Marie Malinowski.

He graduated from Cathedral High School with the class of 1961 and then went to work for Stroozas Big Dollar for many years before opening his own store, Malinowski Super Saver, in Lake Nebagamon.

He was enthusiastically involved in the Hawthorne Trap Club.  He enjoyed snowmobiling and was a member of the Storm Riders Snowmobile Club. He also enjoyed 4-wheeling and fishing and he was a zealous NASCAR and Green Bay Packer fan.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Lori Harding.

He is survived by his son, Bradley (Racquel Christner) Malinowski of Lake Nebagamon; daughter, Jolie Olson of Hesperia, CA and her children, Peri Kemp and Taylor Bridge; one great-grandchild, Bentley; brother, Richard (Carol Anderson) Malinowski of Lake Nebagamon; and nieces, Lisa and Samuelle.

Services will be held on Friday May 19, at 11:00 am. at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19 ^th St. and Ogden Ave.  in Superior. Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.

If desired, memorials may be made in Dennis' name to the Hawthorne Trap Club.
