Dennis J. Raas, 78, passed away with his family by his side in his home Thursday, June 18, 2026.

Dennis was born April 13, 1948, to Bernice (Ott) and Harry Raas in St. Paul, MN.

He was employed in the printing industry working for West Publishing for 37 years.

Dennis was a member of Trinty Lutheran Church in Lake Nebagamon where he volunteered as an usher. He also was a volunteer at Grandma’s Marathon for many years and donated blood regularly.

Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and playing card games with friends and family. He looked forward to having guests over to their home for dinner or just a drink. Dennis was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends or neighbors when they need it.

Dennis and Nancy loved to go on cruises and traveling together throughout their retirement.

He will be remembered for his humor and being a good friend to many people over the years.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Cheryl Raas.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Nathan (Amy) Raas and Cynthia (Jason) Hofstedt; his grandchildren, Brooke, Genevieve, and Leo.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11416 E. 1st St. N., Lake Nebagamon, WI, with Pastor Katie Wagner officiating.
