Diane M. Depta, a lifelong resident of Superior, passed away on March 30, 2026, at her home.
Diane was a deeply devout Catholic, and her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She will be fondly remembered as "Auntie Di" by her family, as she loved and cared for her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony "Tony" Sr. and Helen; her brother, Anthony "Tony" Jr.; and her sister, Suzie Martineau.
Diane is survived by her sisters, Janette (Dick) Nelson and Maureen St. John; her nieces and nephews, Joe, Steve, Mark, Danielle, T.J., Andrea, Brianne, Evan, and Libby; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob, Zachary, Brandon, Mason, Audrey, Tyler, Sydney, Allisyn, Chloe, Jameson and Madilyn; her uncles, Lawrence "Larry" and Richard "Dick" Krynski; her brother-in-law, Dennis Martineau; and many extended family members.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2316 E. 4th Street, Superior, with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior, WI.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Diane's memory to Cathedral School, 1419 Baxter Ave., Superior, WI 54880.
