Diane E. Koskie, 64, of Hawthorne, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at her residence.

Diane was born in Superior on June 5, 1957, the daughter of Clarence and Lillian (Johnson) Peterson. She married Kirt Koskie on June 8, 1984.

She had worked at the grain elevators, and at the taco plant in Poplar. Diane enjoyed watching football, crafting and crocheting. Most important to her was spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Matthew Tuura.

Diane is survived by her husband of 37 years, Kirt; children, Jim Tuura of Superior, Gina (A.J.) Tuura of Colorado, John Tuura of Proctor, Crystal (John) Klassen of Duluth, Karl Koskie of Superior, and Michael (Christina) Koskie of Hawthorne; grandchildren, Shelby, Matthew, Kyle, John, Anthony, Brendan, Brynlynn, Bradley, Wesley, John Ray, Deanna, Axel, Blaze, Skylar, and Revan; great grandchildren, Eric, Lilly, JJ, and one on the way; former husband, John Tuura; siblings, Terry (Debbie) Peterson, Timmy (Linda) Peterson, Lester (Debbie) Peterson, Darla (Dean) Kemp, Dale Peterson, and Danny Peterson; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Oulu, WI. Guests will be invited to a Celebration of Life following the burial until 3:00 p.m.
