Dolores M. Kastberg "Lorrey" died peacefully on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at Villa Marina Health and Rehab Center. She was 88 years old.

Dolores was born on June 25, 1931 in Superior, the daughter of Margaret (Liska) and George Glonek. She married Harland Kastberg on September 30, 1949 and they celebrated 50 years of marriage together. Harland and Dolores raised 4 children, sons Rick, Dennis, Scott and daughter Sue. They also fostered 28 children.

Dolores was an active member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church. She loved to crochet and sew and belonged to a sewing club and Homemakers. She enjoyed camping and eventually cabin life on Ruth Lake in Iron River. Many weekends were spent in Little Falls, visiting relatives and she enjoyed traveling by bus after Harland's retirement. She loved playing cards and liked every game. She had weekly "card parties" with friends and taught her grandchildren to play too. Countless hours were spent playing games together. Dolores was proud to teach exercise class at the Senior Center. She cherished time spent with Kevin and Suzanne over the past several years.

Dolores was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her children and grandchildren, Dennis and Wendy Kastberg (Jason, Chris, Klarissa) of Webster, MA; Scott and Terri Kastberg (Zachary, Keaton, Kristopher) of Green Bay; and Sue and Rob Kratsch (Dain, Addey, Nate, Ellie, Kaitlyn, Macie) of Superior; daughter-in-law, Anne Fagnan (Josh, Ashley) of New Richmond, WI; and 6 great-grandchildren. Dolores is survived by her brother Joe (Doris) Glonek as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harland; son, Richard Fagnan; brothers, Bill (Joyce) Glonek and George (Gen) Glonek; and a sister Margaret (Melvin) Saline.

In her words, she had a great life, and felt lucky to have the family and friends that she did. She appreciated every one of us.

Please join us to celebrate her life on Saturday Dec. 28 ^th .  Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. memorial service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19th St. Rev. Fr. Ron Olson will officiate. Lunch will be served at Barker's Island Inn immediately following. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
