Obituary

Dolores E. Quinn, 90, died Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Harmony House in Superior.

She was born in Superior on September 21, 1926, the daughter of George and Margaret Quinn.

Dolores worked at Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing, North Shore Manufacturing, and Garon Knitting Mills.  She loved being outdoors at her home or the cabin.  Dolores enjoyed golfing, playing softball, and bowling. She traveled all through her life and she really enjoyed her trips to Alaska and Hawaii. She was a loving person and was always taking care of others.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Sr. Agatha Dorothy Quinn, and Raymond Quinn.

Dolores is survived by her cousins, Mary Ann Ritchie, Charles (Karen) Hughes, Deb Ness, Cathie Cleary, Chuck (Lori) Ritchie, Rick (Melissa) Hughes, Doug (Lisa) Hughes, and Michelle (Elena) Hughes-Foshey; and many extended family and friends.

Her visitation will be on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Cathedral of Christ the King Church from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial.  Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci and Rev. Fr. James Tobolski will concelebrate.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Harmony House for their loving care over the last two years and to St. Luke's Hospice for the wonderful care at the end of her life.
