Dolores E. Ronning, 97, of Superior, died Friday, July 14, 2017, at Superior Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Superior on August 24, 1919, the daughter of Herbert and Edna Nigreene.

Dolores went to school in Holyoke, MN, and was raised on a farm.

She married Keith Ronning on August 15, 1942.

Dolores enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, sewing, and embroidery.  She loved to dance and most important to her was her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Dolores is survived by her sons, Marvin Ronning, Superior, Roger (Gloria) Ronning, Duluth, and Russell Ronning, Superior; daughter, Sharon Ronning, Superior; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her visitation will be on Tuesday, July 18, from 11:00 a.m. until the noon funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
