Donald Thomas Brew, 76 of Superior, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at St. Francis in the Park following a lengthy battle with Parkinson's and Dementia.

Donald was born on June 17, 1937 the son of Vernon and Dorothy Brew.

He had worked at the Duluth News Tribune as a pressman for 43 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Brew.

Don is survived by his wife Claudia (Homick), they would have celebrated 55 years of marriage in May; children, Donald Brew Jr. of San Diego, Calif., James Brew of Boulder, Colo., Allyson (Todd) Mattson of Coon Rapids, Minn.; grandchildren, Sarah (Christian) Grunnah of Chicago, Eric Brew of Minneapolis, David Mattson of Duluth, Joshua Brew of San Diego and Michelle Mattson of Minneapolis; and several nieces and nephews.

Private interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
