Donald Lee Larsen, 85, of Superior, died Saturday, October 26, 2013 at St. Francis in the Park, Superior.
He was born August 30, 1928 in Evanston, Illinois, son of Albert and Irene (Johnson) Larsen.
Don worked many years for Fraser Shipyards, Superior.
His memberships included the Superior Senior Center and a former member of the Superior Moose Lodge.
He enjoyed watching Jeff Gordon and other NASCAR racers, his Green Bay Packers-especially when Brett Favre played, playing smear and other card games and bingo.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and wife, Alice in 1988.
Survivors include his sons, Donnie Lee Larsen, Duluth and Anthony W. Larsen, Superior; daughter, Tammy (Sandy) Durham, Superior; many grandchildren including, Kelly (Brett) Pederson, Superior and Anthony W. Larsen II, Minneapolis, MN; his honey-do, Edith Livingston, Superior; and several great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior. Reverend Father Andrew P. Ricci will officiate.
Inurnment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
