Donald Lee Pattee, 67 of South Range, died surrounded by his dogs on Monday, February 13, 2023.

He was born on November 4, 1955, to Ethel (Winter) and Benny Pattee in Superior, WI.

Don was employed numerous places over the years and most recently as a custodian at Black Bear Casino.  He always kept busy, helping friends and family anyway he could.

Don enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, four wheeling, boat rides or cutting wood.  He was most proud to be at the local dump every week picking cans with his dogs, all for his granddaughter.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Merri and his second wife, Rebecca; his brother, Robin; his sister, Theresa Cheselski; his mother and father in-law, Patricia and Marvin Wermter.

Survivors include his daughters, Wendy (Jason Byrd, Sr.) Pattee, and April (John) Schlies; step daughters, Irene (Kent) Hathaway, Val (Kyle) Sweeney, Monica (Mike Merlo) Miner, and Cheyenne (Connor MacKinnon) Antiel; grandchildren, Tre, Santana, Caesar, Jeffrey, Austin, Donovan, Dontae, and Natalee; great grandchildren, Micah and Kyzer; 12 step grandchildren; sisters Geraldine Peterson, Laura Marquardt, Mary (Wade) Kruse, and Denise Henry; brothers, Ronald (Carol) Pattee, and Randy (Cheryl) Pattee; sisters in-law, Bonita Fudally, Annie Taylor, and Tina Jenson; his best friend, Jeff Moore; his beloved dogs, Rainy, Teddy, Snow White and Baby Girl and  numerous family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from Noon until for 4:00 pm at the Oakland Town Hall, 6152 S County Road K, South Range, WI.
