Donald L. Pearson, 74, of Superior, died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

Donald was born on November 3, 1943 the son of Kenneth and Rose Pearson.

He had worked at Kopper's for 37 years. Following his retirement, he worked at NAPA as a parts driver.

Don was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved playing Santa Claus and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Eva, and grandson Justin.

Don is survived by his Fiancé,  Joyce Yadon of Superior; children, Donny Pearson of Arizona, Candy Pearson (Ray) of Pequot Lakes, MN, Tina (Bryan) Beck of Brainerd, MN, Cathy (Tom) DeRosier of Lake Nebagamon, Janice (John) Nelson of Hawthorne, Kelley (Scott) Dowd of Sandwich, IL, Jenny (Kenny) Yadon of Hawthorne, Dana (Greg) Lundeen of South Range, Scott (Mary) Carlson of Superior, and Becky  Carlson (Jim) of Maple; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, DonnaJean Hursh (Mickey), Irene (Sylvester) Hursh, Leona (Dave) Larson, and Bob Pearson; many nieces and nephews, and his dog and best friend, Zada.

Celebration of Don's life will be held on Thursday, March 1 ^st , from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St.
