Donna L. Fornal, 74, of Brule, died Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Essentia-St. Mary's Hospital in
Duluth.

Donna was born in Dallas, TX on Dec. 6, 1947, the daughter of Francis and Mary (Gooch) Fairfield. She served her country enlisting in the US Marines.

She most recently had worked as a pharmacist assistant at CVS and prior to that had worked as a veterinarian assistant. Donna enjoyed making jewelry and being around horses when she was younger. She was very giving and would often donate to the Native American School in Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 30 years, Donald; and her sister, Stormy Ridings.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Nola Latvala of Brule; grandchildren, Chelcey (Christopher) Schmidt of Solon Springs, Mariah Clegg of Brule, and Raven Cash of Las Vegas; great grandchildren, Christina, Elijah, and Cecilia; sister Darleen (John) Lohse of Superior; brother-in-law, Keith Riding; and her beloved dog, Dixie.

A Celebration of Donna's Life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20 ^th starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Kro Bar, 13920 Us-2, Brule, WI 54820. Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435 at 2:00 p.m.
