Doris I. Griffith, 86, of Superior, rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings, Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Twin Ports Health Services in Superior, WI.

She was born October 10, 1938, in Ashland, WI, daughter of Harry and Irene (Boyle) Hultman.

Doris worked for over 25 years for St. Luke's Hospital in the podiatry department at Mariner Medical Clinic, Superior.

Doris fully enjoyed her retirement. Some of her numerous interests included gardening, yard sales, collecting recipes, cooking, enjoying lunch with her lady friends, shopping, collecting fairies, enjoying all types of music, and most importantly, spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Lewis J. Griffith; grandson, Joshua J. Byrnes; brother, Harry Hultman; and sister, Marjorie Hultman.

Survivors include her children, Debra Byrnes of Ashland, Jeffrey (Tina) Griffith of Port St. Lucie, FL, Shari (Richard Rieckmann) Lennon of New London, WI, and Wendy Griffith of Superior; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Jeannie Hultman of Iron River, WI.

Doris' celebration of life will be held at a later date with the burial at St. Agnes Cemetery, Ashland.

Doris and her family were appreciative of her healthcare teams and thank the dedicated staff at Aspirus/St. Luke's, St. Luke's Nephrology, Spirit Valley Dialysis and Twin Ports Health Services.
