Dorothy M. Doyle, 84, of Superior, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.

She was born September 1, 1933 in Hawthorne, WI, daughter of Nels and Myrtle (Rusk) Sutherland.

Early in her life, Dorothy worked for the Keebler Biscuit Company in Melrose Park, Illinois.

Dorothy enjoyed spending time in Iron River, at their cabin on Deep Lake. She also liked watching TV and going out to eat.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Fred Doyle in 1989; sister, Betty Schuster; and brother, Donald Sutherland.

Survivors include her sisters, Jeanette Zelma and Shirley Johnson, both of Superior; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Monday, March 12, 2018, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior.  Reverend Sarah Kerkes, pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Superior, will officiate.

Burial will take place in the Parkview Cemetery, Hawthorne, at a later date.
