Obituary

Dorothy Mae Kelleher, 80, of Superior, died Monday, April 15, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospice in Duluth, surrounded by her family.

Dorothy was born in Duluth on Feb. 16, 1939 the daughter of Elwin and Pauline Covel.

She was a very hard worker and most recently had worked as a caregiver in Home Health Care. She loved to Ballroom dance, play card games, and do puzzles. She also enjoyed sewing and helping at the Duluth Playhouse. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Betty Coulson; grandson, Brandon Fleming; and brother, Jay Covel.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Robert; children, James Coulson of Cookeville, TN, Roger (Juanita) Fleming of Dalhart, TX, Bonnie Anderson of Vancouver, WA, Monte (Darlene) Chapman of Battle Ground, WA, and Brenda Pickering of Vancouver, WA; step-children, Dennis (Ruth) Kelleher and Debbie (Darrell) Anderson of Lake Nebagamon; siblings, Earl (Marie) Covel of Mena, AR, Betty Reese of Minong, WI, Bonnie Skillings of New Braunfels, TX, David Covel of Hawaii, and Larry Covel, Alita Ngo, and Annette Covel of Artesia, CA; 37 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday April 19, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at House of Hope Church, 7184 S Church Rd, Lake Nebagamon, WI. Pastor Chad Cracraft will officiate.

Burial will be in Lake Nebagamon Cemetery at a later date.
