Douglas 'Doug' Bolk, 58, of Superior and longtime Florida resident, died Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in Superior.

Doug was born in Duluth on December 19, 1963, the son of Joan (Wasco) and Virgil Bolk.

He married Debra Korn on February 28, 2014, in Superior.

Doug enjoyed being a pipefitter, riding his Harley Davidson and loved spending time in the garage with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Bolk; brother, Jim Bolk; sister-in-law, Debbie Bolk; grandparents, Felix Wasco, Margaret and Joe Turoski, and Dallas and Edith Bolk; and stepfather, Allen Carlson.

Doug is survived by his wife, Debbie; mother, Joan Carlson; children, Leah (Jake) Bolk, Danielle Birch, AJ (Erika) Cardenas, Brandon (Deanna) Cardenas, and Taylor (Brittany) Roeber; grandchildren, Rosie, Aria, Anja, Elijah, Max, Forrest, and Theo; sister, Debbie (Kenny) Lisdahl; nephew, Chris (Dena) Hopkins; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Barb and Jerry Korn; brothers-in-law/sisters-in-law, Lori, Gerri, Steven, Terri, and Michael; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dogs, Harley and Mila.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19th St., Superior.
