Durae A. Lane, 82, longtime resident of Superior, died Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Twin Ports Health Services with her daughter by her side.

Durae was born in Superior on Dec. 9, 1939, the daughter of Oscar and Mable (Johnson) Wilner. She graduated from Central High School with the class of 1958.

She had worked as a beautician in local beauty shops for almost 60 years. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Durae was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, especially the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Durae is survived by her daughter, Danielle Lane and brother, Dean Wilner, both of Superior.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 29 ^th from 11:00 a.m. until the Noon funeral service at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Pastor Sean Koos as officiant. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
