Dwight W. Willoughby, 73, lifelong resident of Superior, died Saturday December 7, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Dwight was born in Superior, on December 19, 1950, the son of Wesley and Beverly (Wedenoja) Willoughby. He graduated from Superior Senior High School with the class of 1969.

He married Kathleen Herubin on October 1, 1971, and they celebrated 53 years of marriage.

He worked at Graymont Lime Plant, formerly Cutler Magner and CLM, as a Millwright for many years.

Dwight was an active member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church. He loved riding his Harley and was a member of the Harley Owners Group, HOG. He enjoyed traveling every summer to Sturgis. He could fix everything and was always willing to help anyone who was in need. Most important to him was his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dwight is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; children, Heather (Steven) Hyjek of Laguna Niguel, CA and Michael (Veronica) Willoughby of Superior; grandchildren, Harper and Westin Hyjek, and RJ McKay; his siblings and his beloved dog, Sage.

Following Dwight's wishes, no public services will be held.
