Edmund 'Ed' J. Lamoreaux, 74, of Superior, died Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

Ed was born in Ashland, WI on March 18, 1951, the son of Clarence and Marcella (Bellecourt) Lamoreaux.

He was a member of the Fond du Lac Tribe of Lake Superior Chippewa. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Lodge 117 and had worked at Barko Hydraulics for many years.

Ed was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. He also enjoyed playing Bunko with Susie. Most important was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jane Lamoreaux; sons, Bob and Bill Lamoreaux; brother, James Fisher, Jr.; and infant sister, Beryl Lamoreaux.

Ed is survived by his significant other, Susie, Dzelak of Superior; daughter, Wendy (Roger Loukes) Lucia of Duluth; son, Clarence Lamoreaux of Superior; daughters-in-law, Georgene and Gloria Lamoreaux; sisters, Sharon LaPointe and Becky Sisk; brother, Ray (Tammy) Blaxill; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family; and his beloved, Miss Kitty.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16th from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St.
