Edward David St. John, 70, of Superior, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Twin Ports Health Services in Superior.

He was born in Superior on November 16, 1946, the son of Roy and Leona St. John.

Edward graduated from Superior Central High School in 1964 and was enlisted in the Army from 1964 to 1968.

He then worked as an engineer for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad where he retired after 22 years.

Edward enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing cards.  Most of all he loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael St. John.

Edward is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Michael (Heidi) St. John, Duluth, Sheryl (Steve) Anderson, Delavan, WI, Michelle (Fred) Siegler, Switzerland, and Laurel St. John, Tuscon, AZ; step-sons, Eric (Kacie) LeBlanc, Superior, and Ed LeBlanc, Eagan, MN; grandchildren, Stephanie, Dakota, Sydney, Bridgett, Ian, James, Alex, Billy, Samantha, Dillen, Gage, David, Annikka, Jasmine, and Hunter; and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, David (Evelyn) St. John, Sharron (Willy Becker) St. John, and Dick St. John; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

His celebration of life will be on Friday, June 2, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street.
