Elizabeth T. Bratz, 75 of Poplar, WI died on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at St. Lukes Hospital in Duluth, MN.

Elizabeth was born on September 18, 1947 to Agnella (Leiby) and John Hanamann in Appleton, WI.

She married Roger Bratz October 5, 1985 in Appleton, WI.  Elizabeth was employed the majority of her life as a seamstress first with Zwickers Knitting Mill in Appleton and then with Aquila Knitting Mill in Superior until its closing.

She enjoyed the outdoors camping with Roger, sewing, and was a very avid reader.  Elizabeth was passionate about her grandchildren, spending time with them, teaching them how to cook and educating them every chance she had.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Jerome and John Hanamann.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Roger; her son, Clayton Opsahl; her daughter, Jackie (Bryon) Arndt; her granddaughters, Aurorah, Ambrosia and Arieonna Arndt, Olivia, Izabella, and Amelia Opsahl; her sisters, Margaret "Mugs" (Kenneth) Powers and Shirley (Ronald) Elkendier; her brother, Joseph (Suzan) Hanamann and numerous nieces and nephews

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Stone Arch Brewpub in the taproom, 1004 S. Olde Oneida St., Appleton, WI.
