Elizabeth J. Pelfrey, 85, of Superior, died Tuesday October 25, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

Elizabeth was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 2, 1931 the daughter of Henry and Olive Smith.

She had been military wife and mother, raising her 10 children and worked for Jeno's prior to the Superior Telegram were she worked for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dewey C. Pelfrey, Sr.; and sons, Dewey Pelfrey, Jr., William 'David' Pelfrey, and Daniel Pelfrey.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Bruce (Sharon) Pelfrey of Florida, Vicki Mackay of Superior, Christine 'Tina' Pelfrey of Superior, Terease Pelfrey of St. Paul, Arletta Pelfrey of Superior, Shannon Wurts of Michigan, and Lois Pelfrey of Superior; a sister, Elsie; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.

Her memorial service will be held on Saturday Nov. 5 ^th at 3:00 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Rev. Larry Goebel will officiate.
