Elizabeth 'Liz' Rose Schlais, 27, of Shakopee, died Monday, June 24, 2019 in St. Paul, MN.

She was born in Minneapolis on November 13, 1991, the daughter of Steven Schlais and Jacqueline Sharlow-Chiles.

Elizabeth was a member of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. She loved spending time with her daughters, them being her pride and joy. Family and friends were a very important aspect of her life. Liz was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved travelling and experiencing new places as well.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Sharlow-Chiles; paternal grandmother, Gail Schlais; niece, Lilly Christenson; and stepbrother, Andrew Closson.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Tamia Bowles and Jackie Schlais; father, Steve (Barbara) Schlais of South Range; sisters, Stephanie Schlais of Duluth and Heather Gayken-Sumner of Superior; paternal grandfather, Edward Schlais of Oakland Township; maternal grandparents, Paul and Margaret Chiles; stepbrother, Duane Noles of Cottage Grove; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2019, at the Parkland Town Hall, 6221 Veterans Dr, South Range, WI.

Memorials may be made to the family for her daughters, Tamia & Jackie.
