Emma M. Clark, 97, of Superior, died Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Range.

She was born October 9, 1919 in River Rouge, Michigan, the ninth of ten children.

Emma and her husband, David E. Clark, owned and operated the Amnicon Bar for 13 years.

She loved to dance, especially the jitterbug, and in the last years of her life she enjoyed solving word puzzles and finding rides to Bingo.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; 9 siblings, and a grandson.

Survivors include her children, David R. (Cinda) Clark, Hermantown, MN, Barbara (Les) Mackyol, Webster, WI, and Rick (Sue) Clark, Superior; 8 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior.

Following the service, the family invites everyone to the Amnicon Bar for a luncheon.
