Emma Ruth (Brock) Fuhrman, 89, of Superior, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Thursday January 31, 2013 in Superior.
She was born August 20, 1923 in Seneca, South Carolina, the daughter of John A. and Helen (Boyd) Brock. She married Thomas M. Fuhrman of Milwaukee on July 13, 1945 in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years and by her daughters Margaret and Rebekah.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Rood of Cedar Rapids, IA, her son Dr. Thomas Fuhrman (Karen) of Miami, FL and son Robert (Barb) of Superior, WI, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother John Brock of Walhalla, SC and sisters Mary Thomas and Helen Berkheimer, both of Seneca, SC.
Downs Funeral Home of Superior is assisting the family. Interment will be in Beaufort National Cemetery.
