Erin E. (Murphy) Larson, 68, of Solon Springs, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

She was born on July 22, 1957, in Ashland, WI, the daughter of Robert and Audrey (Coss) Murphy. Erin was a 1975 graduate of Superior Senior High School.

Erin spent many years working alongside her family at NAP Beverage as the CEO, where her dedication, work ethic, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Over the years, she also held various bookkeeping positions at Goldfines, Johnson Mertz, Arrowhead Supply, Superior Quality Builders, and P&R Plumbing, always bringing warmth, integrity, and diligence to her work.

She was a proud member of the Women's Investment Group and Women in Construction.

Erin's true passion, however, was quilting. She found immense joy and purpose in creating beautiful quilts and sharing that love with others. Her quilting "family" in Solon Springs meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent hosting their gatherings, where laughter, creativity, and friendship filled the room.

Erin will be remembered for her generous heart, infectious laugh, and her gift for making everyone feel at home. Her legacy of love and creativity will live on in the quilts and projects she crafted and in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.

Erin was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Larson; longtime partner, Fred Piper; brother, Michael Murphy; and nephew, Matt Burm.

She is survived by her sisters, Colleen Namaste of Superior, and her significant other, Donnie Burm, and Kelly (Jeff) Oliver (TX); nieces and nephews, Ryan Burm, Megan Holsclaw, Sean Murphy, Morgan Hall, Olivia Oliver, and Levi Oliver; Larry's children and grandchildren; and many extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St, Superior. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, October 28th, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 11405 S 1st St W, Solon Springs, WI 54873. Pastor Jason Clifton-Meller will officiate.

Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, with the family after the service.
