Ernest J. Hahn's Obituary
Ernest J. Hahn, 87 of Superior, died Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Golden Living in Superior.
He was born in Spooner, WI on Feb. 18, 1928.
Ernest served his country in the Navy. He was a seaman, sailing on the Great Lakes for many years. He also worked construction. He loved walking and walked 2-3 miles a day around Superior always saying hi and talking to people he would meet.
He is survived by 2 sons, Steve Hahn and Allen (Donna Ostenson) Hahn; and grandchildren, Allen Jasper Hahn and Ean Anthony Hahn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A time of remembrance will be held on Sunday Oct. 4 from 3-5p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave. Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post 435 at 5p.m.
If desired, memorials in his name may be made to the Golden Living Center, Superior.
