Ernest R. Applebee, Jr., age 73, passed away Saturday August 22, 2026, in Middle River Health and Rehab, South Range.

Ernest was born February 23, 1953, in Minneapolis, MN to Irene J. (Jacobson) and Ernest R. Applebee, Sr.

He married Debra J. Elsner on November 25, 2000, in Duluth, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Debra.

Ernest is survived by his stepdaughter, Sherry Archibald and stepson, Larry Archibald; his siblings; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Following Ernest’s wishes, no services will be held.
