Fairbee A. Merriman, 83, of Superior, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

She was born in Hicks, LA, on April 2, 1935, the daughter of Ervin and Essie 'Mae' Wolfe.

Fairbee enjoyed fishing, shopping, embroidery, reading, and her road trips with Dori to the casino.  She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.  Fairbee was full of wisdom and loved being with her family and friends, especially during the holidays.

She loved the Lord and listening to gospel music.  She was baptized with the Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Thomas Merriman; and brothers, Fred and Ronald 'Ronnie' Wolfe.

Fairbee is survived by her children, Charolette (Dale) DeLacerda of Simpson, LA, Thomas (Beth) Merriman of Texarkana, TX, Charles (Tommi) Merriman of Slagle, LA, John (Pamela) Merriman of Hornbeck, LA, Michael (Rosie) Merriman of Slagle, LA, Barbara (Joe) Steward of Campti, LA, Lonnie Mae (Wayne) Savell of Campti, LA, and Julie Merriman of Duluth, MN; 25 grandchildren including her namesake, Fairbee Merriman of Duluth, MN; 40 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert 'Bobby' Wolfe of Orange, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

Her visitation will be on Monday, September 24, 2018, from 10:30 a.m. until the 12:00 Noon funeral service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, Superior, WI 54880.

Fairbee will be laid to rest next to her father in Campbell Creek Cemetery in Sharp, LA.
